Winter update and a little bit of racing

Hiiiiii, it’s been a while and I apologise for the lack of updates. Been slogging it out all winter and suddenly here we are in March and it’s nearly time for outdoors, time flies! Excuse the cliché. Well….. I came back from China, having been at the World Students, and felt like I massively needed a break, but after three weeks I was raring to go again and I’ve been enjoying the hard slog ever since. After the success of last season, I didn’t feel the need to drastically change anything, so I knew I just h...

GB 1,2,3.....unfortunately not

Well here we are the day after yesterdays final, and i've had time to reflect on the race and the champs as a whole. After initially being severely annoyed and upset, i realised that i ran the race i wanted to run and for 350m it was spot on, just i just lacked that little something extra that i needed towards the end. But to be involved in that race was a really good experience, especially with nathan and jack going out and running equal national records. And for the four of us t...

Pb's and Pacemaking - 2011 so far

Hi guys, just thought i would update you on the season so far. Starting in bedford, as always seems to happen, with a fancy dress appearance in the heats of BUCS. (Hopefully i can try to make this a more official day for us 400 hurdlers, rather than just me turning up in every accessory possible). Finishing the 3 day weekend with a win and a pb, was everything i could have asked for, especially as it was inside the euro u23 qualifier. Then it was on to the period of the season of flying around europe for a few races, you cant really complain wi...
