First Mccain Cross Challenge win in Bristol and European qualification for Slovenia :)

Hi its been a long time since my last update due to one thing and another but I am pleased to say I am back on track now to fill everyone in on my progress in the last month. Its been a great Autumn season capped off with a nomination for European athlete of the month which I was over the moon about about! It is definatelly up there on my list of acheivements for the year. I'm not sure on the result but I think I finished 4th in the end but don't quote me on that as they only list the top 3. My first cross country outing of the season since the world cross back in March couldn't have ran any smoother apart from the non stop rain which all competitiors were confronted with at the National Cross country relays but it wouldn't be the same without the typical Britiish Cross country weather now would it? Hi everyone. The past few weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind and sureal to say the least. Especailly when you find yourself in a race with the greatest runner of all time 'Haile Gebresaile' and being paced by a human banana en route to victory in the Great Birmingham half marathon it makes me wonder if I was actually dreaming! This is my first blog so still finding my feet so to speak with the process of putting my thoughts onto paper.- I seem to be gaining in confidence race by race after a little stall at the Swansea 10k 4 weeks ago it is now a distant memory I am on a roll again and peaking at the right time for the Birmingham half marathon this weekend which is great.
