So who do you think will finish in the top 3 at the finish of the Junior and Senior races at Liverpool this weekend? Give us your predictions of who you feel will fill the spots on the podium and seal Automatic selection for the European Cross Country Championships to be in with a chance of winning the prize of a Start Fitness Goodie Bag and a pair of shoes . Please ensure that you read through all of the rules stated below.
Before you make your prediction you need to ensure that you a registered user of the athleticos site, if not your prediction will be invalid. Then quite simply you need to predict by commenting below this message who you feel will place in the top three for the following races:
Senior Men
Senior Women
U20 Men
U20 Women
Using the scoring system below the person with the highest score will take away the prize of a Star Fitness Goodie Bag which More Mile high viz Thermal, More Mile bright long sleeve t-shirt, Adidas hat, Adidas gloves along with a pair of shoes of your choice up the value of ã80 from the Start Fitness Website.
For each of your picks that finish in the top 3, irrespective of the position, you will receive 50 points.
Additional bonus points will then be added if you
Correctly predict 1st place you will receive an additional 250 points.
Correctly predict 1-2 in order you will receive an additional 500 points
Correctly predict 1-3 in order you will receive an additional 1000 points
The winner is simply the person with the highest number of points.
In the case of a tie the person with the most accurate predictions wins. For example if person A successfully predicts the winners of two races within which they have also correctly predict the 1-3 for one race, and have three athletes finish in the top 3 but not the right order (1600 points), and tie with person B who successfully predicts the 1-3 for one race , and then has 9 athletes finish in the top 3 but not the right order (also 1600 points), person A would win.
If two contests have exactly the same predictions, then the winner will be the person who made the prediction first. If a winner still can't be determined then all contests eligible for the prize will be placed in a hat and athleticos will draw the winner.
